Join us at the Calero launch ramp on November 2nd at 9am to help remove Stinkwort from around the shoreline and walking trails. Stinkwort is an invasive plant which reseeds readily and pushes out native shoreline plants. Stinkwort is known to be damaging to grazing animals like cattle. Stinkwort can cause mild skin irritation and participants should protect exposed skin.
Please wear long sleeved shirts, long pants, and close toed shoes.
Work gloves will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
We will Meet at the boat launch ramp. at 9am. Feel free to come and go as you’d like, there is no obligation to stay for the entire event.
Parking will be FREE for all volunteers participating on the day of the event. Please stop by the kiosk on your way in and we will issue you a Volunteer parking pass.
There is no signup needed, you just need to come.
