Hello Troop 290 Parents,
As shared during the parent meeting, the Troop fees for this 2026-2027 Scouting Year will remain $145.00 per Scout.
Also remember there are two parts to annual fees with Scouting, and the second part is your registration with BSA directly.
In other words, there are two steps to re-renewing membership:
- Pay the Troop $145 for the Troop portion. This goes to facility rentals, equipment upkeep, leadership, and advancements.
- Please re-register and pay with BSA directly when your Scout renewal comes up. You will get an email reminding you that renewal is due at 90 days. Please keep an eye out for those emails!
If your son is not planning on continuing with Scouts, please let us know via email so we are not chasing you for payment. If fees are not received by November 1st, or other accommodations arranged, we will assume you are not continuing with Scouts and not renew your membership with the Troop/BSA.

- $145.00 via Zelle: Memo: Scout’s name. Troop Zelle account is buzzardstroop290@gmail.com
- $149.35 via PayPal; Include Scout’s name in the details. Payment link is:
