About Troop 290

Troop 290 is a Boy Scouts troop located in San Jose. We are a big troop and just keep getting bigger every semester! In our troop, we have a lot of campouts, service projects, and eagle projects. We have campouts every month. At our troop, we give everyone a chance and treat everyone as equals. We also have many positions of responsibility that you can take on.

Troop Library

A lot of scouts find it hard to complete merit badges because they don’t have the resources to help them out. Merit badge pamphlets are a great choice to assist you, as they have links to different websites that are super helpful and have a lot of information itself. Our troop has a bunch of pamphlets in stock, that will hopefully be very useful. Here is the link to a record of the pamphlets:
